Golden Threadfin Fish Seafood Recipe |Pla Kurao Tod Khamin

















INGREDIENTS:
1 golden threadfin fish
20 cloves garlic (remove only hard skin)
4 sticks turmeric, cut into stick about 1" long
4 coriander roots, chopped
1 tsp salt
4 cups vegetable oil

PREPARATION:
1. Scale the fish, slit down the middle and remove the insides. Rub well with some salt, and wash throughly. Slit diagonally on both sides, and drain.

2. Coarsely pound garlic, turmeric, coriander roots and salt together(using mortar and pestle). Devide the mixture into 2 portions; marinate the fish with 1 portion for 10 minutes.

3. Pour oil in a wok, and place over medium heat. Fry the reaining portion until golden and fragrant, remove from the oil and drain.

4. Fry the fish in the same wok until golden and done. Remove and drain.

5. Arrange the fried fish on a serving dish; scatter the fried fish herbs over and serve with fresh vegetable as preferred.
